Thursday – after getting a shot of cortisone – I was advised to stay off the bike a bit and continue to let the knee heal. Rain continued for much of the route. However there were opportunities where the sun came out (or at least the rain subsided) and I could enjoy the scenery.

Saturday we made it to shore of Lake Ontario where my good friends met me for a few hours at the beach. Tom and Kerstin McKay drove up from Cazenovia, NY and we enjoy some sunshine before going back to the camp for the evening.
My knee is definitely better — Sunday I will try to ride a few miles.
Grey to see you smiling! Good friends are the best medicine for the soul! Xxoo Katherine
