The traditional dip of the rear wheel in the Atlantic Ocean in Bar Harbor, Maine.
Dan was available to take pictures of the group and each individual as they dipped their rear wheel in the Atlantic to officially kick off the ride. Rain and lack of good internet/power are delaying posts from the route but Elizabeth will be providing updates as she is able.
Most of the group decided to extend the riding day by starting up Cadillac Mountain in Arcadia before starting the official route. Unlike earlier in the week, the top of the mountain was clear and visibility was good making it the only good day to ride to the top. Below is the view of Bar Harbor from the top.
