I got up this morning and was feeling good — the knee is definitely better and I feel the adjustments to the bike are making a difference. Everything dried out overnight — this is a very good thing since tomorrow is a rest day and we will be staying in a hostel — I won’t have to worry about drying out my gear on a rest day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m riding 25 miles today — all along the canals — ending up on the Canadian side of the falls. We stopped at a farm along the way to buy some fruit. The owner came out to talk and we enjoyed some shade, fruit, water, a bathroom, and a nice chat with the owner. I stopped at 20 miles to eat lunch and let the knee take a break – I still notice it for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We crossed into Canada on the Rainbow Bridge. Bicycles are forced to use the same lanes a cars – it was very hot waiting in line to clear the immigration check point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a short ride we were rewarded with our first views of the falls. We would be spending more time here since tomorrow is a zero day. We cycled on to our hostel to start laundry, shower, and generally get things organized so that tomorrow we can enjoy the area.
